Men’s Shelter
Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
2 Corinthians 7:15
Looking for a House of Hope
Men may hear about our temporary/emergency shelter from various sources as family, friends, pastors, county agencies and organizations such as the Crisis Center and Homeless Hotline, or “the-word-on-the-street”.
Those in need of shelter begin the process by registering with the Crisis Center and Homeless Hotline. Please contact (330) 452-4363 where kind staff members are available seven days per week.
If a bed is available, the individuals will be told the time to arrive, what to bring and what not to bring.
Length of stay is assessed on an individual basis.
Provided during each stay:
- Short-term emergency shelter
-Nutritious meals and personal hygiene items
- Access to community health care services
-Daily biblical devotions and spiritual guidance are provided by staff and community volunteers
Individual Assessment and Counseling
Each individual’s unique circumstances are assessed by caring staff that provide assistance and referrals for employment, housing, government aid, substance abuse recovery, and other services.
